Overview This tour starts from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on shared basis. The Templer’s Waterfalls is multi-tiered with a swimming pool in a forest reserve filled with wildlife. It is a 30 minute drive and a 30 minutes hike to the waterfalls. It boasts of 7 tiers totaling 120 meters in height in a 500 hectares of lush forest reserve. Wildlife thus far sighted are monkeys, serpent eagle, cuckoos, woodpeckers and all. Bukit Melawati is a hill with an old abandoned fort, an old lighthouse, a poisoned well and a Royal Grave for 3 sultans. It is home also of the silvered leaf monkeys – very graceful and adorable primates that forage for food at the hills. Photo shoots. They will clamber all over you to get the food from your hands. A lovable primate. Fireflies is a lighting bug. They flash synchronously and produce a biochemical reaction on their light organs situated on their bottoms. They can be seen on mangrove trees after dusk. After a sumptuous seafod dinner catch a boat for an exhilarating ride to eatch fireflies performing their mating ritual. Some males drop dead after the ritual. They display an amazing display of dazzling lights as in a Christmas tree. MALAYSIA BOASTS OF THE LARGEST FIREFLIES COLONY IN THE WORLD.
